Igor Simic, the vice president of the Serbian list, estimated that the bishop of Raska-Prizren Teodosije did not merely expressed his opinion, but that it was the attack on Vucic and the Serbian List, reports RTK2, quoting Belgrade based TV Prva.

"It is not an expression of opinion, but a classic attack on President Vucic and the Serbian List, belittling of everything we did, forgetting all the good that was done by Vucic and the Serbian government for the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo," Simic told TV Prva.

-Gratitude to our President for remembering our sanctities, and not only here but also in other places, but I want to say, right here, that I shall not thank him for the words he has been saying to Kosovo Serbs these days. These are not the words of hope, these are not the words of Christianity, they are unworthy of the one who is at the helm of this nation – the Bishop Teodosije said on Wednesday at Banjska monastery in the north of Kosovo.

There is "a great chance" Hashim Thaci, Aleksandar Vucic and Federica Mogerini will be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

This might happen if if the Kosovo issues has been resolved by the spring of 2019, writes the newspaper Danas.
According to the daily, which refers to international diplomatic circles, the first step towards a possible nomination of the Kosovo president is his biography entitled "New State, Modern Statesman," that is being promoted this year in the Western capitals.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in an interview for Belgrade based daily Danas says that as leaders they are responsible for the well-being of our children and future generations, when talking about Brussels based negotiation, and he thinks that President Vucic and himself were willing to prevent the past from blocking the future or endanger peace in the region in the next five or 50 years.

Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday that "the whole western world, with exceptions, considers Kosovo as a whole, sovereign, and indivisible territory," Serbian media reports today.

This was the Serbian president's reaction to German Chancellor Angela Merkel saying a day earlier she was "against changing borders in the Balkans."

"She already did delimitation between us -  by separating the whole of Kosovo from Serbia," Vucic said, and the concept of "delimitation" with the Albanians that he has been advocating for recently.

Analysts say recent heated rhetoric about the possibility of border changes will affect the popularity of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his Kosovo counterpart Hashim Thaci - but probably not enough to unseat them.

The recent intensive exchange of statements about border ‘corrections’ between Serbia and Kosovo will affect the popularity of both presidents, analysts believe.

The presidents of Serbia and Kosovo are main advocates of the separation between Pristina and Belgrade, Shkëlzen Maliqi, Kosovo ’s political analyst tells the Belgrade Danas daily on Monday, warning about possible effects on Bosnia.

Speaking about the deals between Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci and about a final stage of the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue, Maliqi, also a philosopher and an art critic, said it was interesting to what extent the two had similar stands.

The question of Kosovo is the most important and complex problem, we must not wait any more, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is in favor of a solution that would avoid the war in the future, Secretary General of the President of Serbia Nikola Selakovic said today.

A Kosovo Serb leader told N1 that President Aleksandar Vucic’s statement that he favoured the separation with the Albanians in Kosovo, was yet another message “that spreads depression among the Kosovo Serbs.”

Momcilo Trajkovic, a member of the Serb National Forum Presidency, and former Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister, said that previous Vucic’s statements also contributed to Kosovo Serbs’ state of mind.

The DSS has assessed that President Aleksandar Vucic’s policy favoring "delineation" with the Albanians represents an unconstitutional activity.

The opposition party - which recently announced it was leaving all local-level coalition with Vucic's ruling DSS - said in a press release on Thursday that such an idea implies advocating in favor of changing Serbia's state borders, and in favor of renouncing a part of the country's territory.
