A senior official with the Serbian Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) said on Tuesday that the Kosovo authorities have applied for membership in Interpol for a fourth time. MUP State Secretary Biljana Popovic Ivkovic said that the re-submitted application is part of continued political pressure on the international police organization, a ministry press release said.

Valdrin Lluka, Kosovo’s Minister of Economic Development, told N1 on Thursday he expected a final solution in Belgrade - Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations to be reached this year and accused Serbia of not implementing deals agreed in Brussels.
Speaking at the sidelines of the “Challenges and perspectives of normalisation between Belgrade and Pristina” conference in Belgrade, Lluka said that Serbia’s refusal to implement the energy deal from 2013 caused 25 million Euros loss per year for Kosovo.

Serbia’s Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic asked Interpol chiefs and the members to the organization's Executive Committee not to look at Kosovo’s new membership application and to vote against if it was put on the next years' General Assembly meeting, N1 reported.
