Marić not happy with the agreement on ski center Brezovica (KIM Radio)

Minister for Local Government Administration Ljubomir Marić says that he is not happy with the agreement on investment in the ski center Brezovica, signed in Prsitina with the French Company di Alpe.

“It is actually about a pre-agreement, which has not come to force and remains to be realized with a range of conditions in order that it could become a precise final master plan,” said Marić. He stressed that nothing can be implemented without the support of the local community.

B. Stojanovic: Needed explanations and guarantees (KIM radio)

Branimir Stojanovic at a session of the Municipal Assembly of Strpce/Shtërpce, discussing master-plan of the new ski centre, pointed out that in the period of 180 days must be provided "additional clarifications and guarantees".

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, this is a prerequisite for the contract to be binding.

Employees of the Ski Centre Brezovica held a protest rally in front of the Štrpce/Shtërpce Municipality at 10 hours.  At the same time in the municipal building is a session where the investment plan of the French consortium will be presented to the councillors and citizens.

Director of Ski Centre Brezovica Slađan Nikolcevic confirmed that a group of workers is holding a protest because of disagreements with the announced concession of Brezovica Ski centre. "We protest because we don’t agree with the master plan for the Ski Center Brezovica".

Djuric: A crime that disturbs and discourages (KIM radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric strongly condemned the attack on the young men in North Mitrovica.

Djuric said that the crime, that was carried out on a national basis, in a place that should be a symbol of peace and friendship, that should be "literally a bridge of reconciliation and unity, is disturbing and completely discourages."

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has invited representatives of the competent authorities and the international community to urgently find and punish the perpetrators of the attack.

Rakic: Investigate the responsibility of all officers (KIM radio, Akter, TV Most)

Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakic requested last night the authorities to investigate the responsibility of the police officers who were on duty at the place where the young men was stabbed.

"We seek from the regional commander to submit a report, starting from the head of the shift to every officer who was at the time of the attack near that place, regardless of whether the police officer is employed in the police station North or South", said Rakic after an emergency meeting of representatives of local and the Regional Directorate of the Kosovo Police in northern Kosovo.

Teenager stabbed by masked attackers in Mitrovica (B92, Blic, TV Most, KIM radio)

A 17-year-old Serb boy who was stabbed in the chest near the bridge on the Ibar River in Mitrovica is in a stable condition after he underwent surgery.

Kosovska Mitrovica Heath Center Director Milan Ivanovic made the announcement on Thursday, but did not rule out complications due to the nature of the injuries, saying that his recovery was at the moment progressing as expected.

Aid from France for Gracanica soup kitchen (KIM radio)

French humanitarian organisation 'Solidarity for Kosovo' released on Thursday that it raised nine tons of food for the Majka Devet Jugovica soup kitchen in Gracanica.

The organisation has been assisting the work of soup kitchens in Kosovo ever since 2004.

Arnaud Gouillon, Solidarity for Kosovo founder, said that every day soup kitchens in Kosovo delivered meals to 2,000 people and that they were motivated by this terrifying data to do all they can so that these people get enough food.
