Serbs in Kosovo agree with the idea of a division of Kosovo only if the arrangement would guarantee them more freedom and more rights than they had so far, said the Vice-President of Kosovo’s Serb List, Igor Simic.

He added that the Serb List, a political group of Serbs in Kosovo, trusts Belgrade’s negotiation team unequivocally.

Simic told Serbia’s public broadcaster, RTS, that Serbs in Kosovo live in suspense for decades already.

Serbian List continued through strong verbal statements discrediting certain individuals. Immediately after the message by the Abbot of Visoki Decani on Thursday that „masks have fallen“ and after the Serbian President confirmed that he is in favor of a „delimitation“ between Serbs and Albanians, they issued another statement against Abbot Janjic.

Kossev portal wrote on Saturday that it appears it will be done not at the request of the Ivanovic’s party SDP but on a proposal of the Serbian List: ''Oliver Ivanovic and all innocent victims of our municipality will have a street named after them in North Mitrovica following a proposal of the Serbian List parliamentary group in the Municipal Assembly of North Mitrovica''. The head of the Kosovo Office, Marko Djuric, reacted almost simultaneously with the Serbian List, confirming that Oliver Ivanovic will have a street in North Mitrovica named after him, ''as per his credits''.

Not being in Gracanica at the liturgy, nor present at the traditional Memorial Service in Gazimestan, instead paying a visit to North Mitrovica – The head of the Kosovo Office, Marko Djuric, and the Serbian Minister of Education, Mladen Sarcevic, attended a ceremony for Mitrovica University Day, celebrated on Vidovdan. The two high Serbian officials gifted over 40 computers. The University welcomed student leaders and rectors from central Serbia and the Srpska Lista leadership.

Delegation of Serbian List, during their official visit to Washington, met with Ms. Laura Cooper, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Policy.

The Serbian List called on EU officials yesterday to publicly explain the statement made by EU Head of the Kosovo Office Nataliya Apostolova that ethnic-motivated attacks on the Serbs in Kosovo are starting to look as 'tit-for- tat', report Serbian media.

Serbian media based in Kosovo reports that the Serbian List caucus held a meeting with representatives of the Quint. Although the ambassadors were not present at the meeting, the Serbian List MPs asked a pressure to be exerted on central institutions in order that Serbs and other non-majority people are protected in the areas in which the past few days, ethnically motivated attacks were recorded.
