Vjosa Osmani: "Little Schengen", big mistake (Blic, KTV)

LDK candidate for Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani called the idea of the Balkan "mini-Schengen", agreed Thursday by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, and Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, "a big mistake."

- I think it's an accident that something like that happened. I do not know if Prime Minister Rama consulted with anyone in Kosovo before reaching such an agreement, however, it is a total mistake - Osmani told Pristina based KTV's Rubicon show.

Representatives of so-called states that Serbia does not recognize cannot participate in an inter-parliamentary conference in Belgrade, B92 reported.

Serbian National Assembly President Maja Gojkovic said this on Tuesday, responding to opposition SRS party leader and assembly member Vojislav Seselj, who said chair of the Kosovo Assembly's Committee on Foreign Affairs Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu had been invited to a gathering in Belgrade.

Speaking at the Serbian Assembly, Gojkovic said she had no such information, but would check whether Seselj's claim was true.

During yesterday’s debate at the Assembly of Kosovo over the opposition claims that Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) veterans’ lists were “inflated”, Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said that while at it, the issue of the “inflated” number of women raped during the conflict in Kosovo should also be addressed. “20,000 women were not raped during the war,” Hamza declared.

Osmani: We do not vote Veseli and Haradinaj (RTK)

Kosovo Assembly MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Vjosa Osmani expressed her conviction that MPs from the LAA coalition will not vote Kadri Veseli for Assembly Presidemt or Ramush Haradinaj for Prime Minister of Kosovo.

She also added that statements from the PAN coalition that they have the sufficient votes to create the government, are not true.

Osmani: Inhibition of international investigation on Astrit Dehari, unforgivable (Indeksonline)

Kosovo Assembly MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that inhibition of an international investigation on Astrit Dehari’s death is unforgivable. She said that everyone is responsible, and added that the case should not be politicized. “We are representatives of the population, not diplomats. If hundreds of murders have remained unresolved until now, we should request to work together for Astrit Dehari’s case to become symbol of this country,” Osmani said.
