Haradinaj: All must unite for dialogue with Serbia (media)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said that the entire Kosovo political spectrum needs to be united on the issue of dialogue for normalization of relations with Serbia. Commenting on the government’s decision to pull out the dialogue platform from the Assembly, Haradinaj said the opposition parties that criticized the document are not really concerned with its content but rather with who leads the process and who is part of the delegation. “It is of little relevance who is who, but we have to be together at the table,” Haradinaj said.

Haradinaj: Implementation of European agenda of strategic interest (Telegrafi)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said that implementation of the European Reform Agenda (ERA) is of strategic interest for Kosovo. In his remarks at the meeting of the Ministerial Council for European Integration, Haradinaj said the goal behind the ERA implementation is gaining EU candidate status and ultimately EU membership. He said the relevant ministries need to fulfill all recommendations. “We need to discuss where the delays are and we need to interact and also cooperate with the Assembly of Kosovo,” PM Haradinaj noted.

Haradinaj urges Bulgaria to support Kosovo’s EU integration (Telegrafi)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, met Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borissov, at the sidelines of the Aqaba Meetings taking place in Tirana, an initiative of King Abdullah of Jordan to combat terrorism and radicalization.  Haradinaj thanked Borissov for his government’s support to Kosovo. “Kosovo is determined to continue good relations and bilateral cooperation with Bulgaria, as two friendly countries,” Haradinaj said.

Haradinaj fails to show up for Assembly motions (media)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has not shown up at the Assembly session today to face a motion called by opposition parties Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) on the situation at the Kosovo Telecom and the allegations against Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Nenad Rikalo, over allocation of grants. Head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ahmet Isufi, announced Haradinajs’ absence saying the prime minister is not in Kosovo and that he will instead report to MPs on Friday.

 

Djuric: There is no paper, Haradinaj and Hoxhaj nervous (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric dismissed claims of Kosovo PM and his deputy, Ramush Haradinaj and Enver Hoxhaj there is a new “four pillars plan” on Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

“Haradinaj and Hoxhaj are showing how nervous they are and the reason for it is a fact that their intentions or aims are neither achievable nor possible. If one thinks it can achieve goals with deceptions and lies, then that one would get disappointed,” Djuric told RTS.

Drecun: Huge gap between Serbs and Albanians (Tanjug, B92, TV Pink)

Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told Serbian media there is a huge gap between Serbs and Albanians and people alike Ramush Haradinaj cannot build a reconciliation.

He added, Haradinaj’s remarks on reconciliation are “cynical” and the biggest contribution (to the reconciliation) would be if he would be held responsible before the judiciary for committed crimes.

Haradinaj: Balkan countries need to increase mutual communication (RTK)

Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj said at the Vienna Economic Forum in Sofia that Kosovo is a very favourable market to accommodate foreign direct investments. “Kosovo is a small country with only 2 million inhabitants and we are among few countries to have spent the money from our budget for huge infrastructure projects. It is now time for new investment in many fields, especially in mining and telecom. We are open to all investors and this forum is a good opportunity to share these possibilities,” Haradinaj said.

Haradinaj: We will duly represent Kosovo at Sofia summit (Zeri)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said at the meeting of the government that he is travelling to the EU-Western Balkans summit in Sofia tomorrow together with President Hashim Thaci and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli. “The first part has a clearly defined agenda for Behgjet and me. Those of us that are going I believe will duly represent Kosovo,” Haradinaj said.
