EU High Representative Federica Mogherini said she expects Pristina authorities to annul additional taxes of 10 percent on the goods coming from central Serbia, Tanjug news agency reported.

Speaking at a press conference, following the meeting with Albanian Foreign Affairs Minister Ditmir Bushati in Brussels, Mogherini also noted that she expects a continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and the Western Balkans leaders discussed the situation in the region and its European integrations, in New York yesterday, TV N1 reports.

In an informal meeting, on the sidelines of the 73rd UN General Assembly session, they talked about the situation in the region, regional cooperation and the EU integration of the Western Balkan countries, Mogherini's spokesperson, Maja Kocijancic wrote on Twitter.

The European Union and Western Balkans are partners in security and defence, European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini said in Vienna on Thursday prior to a meeting of EU Defence Ministers.

“We traditionally perceive the Western Balkans as an area of instability where the EU has been a security provider for many years, she said adding that “we are now moving into a stage in which we are partners in our common security and defence”.

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini personally reports to the EU member states on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue at the meetings of the Council of Ministers of the Union, and her team on information about the course of the dialogue gives to the representatives of EU member states and within the various working groups of the EU Council, said Mogherini's spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic.

The entire region is at a crossroad and it is expected certain open issues to be closed. For Serbia it is the normalization of relations with Pristina, Centre for Foreign Policy Director, Aleksandra Joksimovic told RTS.

According to Joksimovic often visits of the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini to Serbia and other countries in the region speak about EU enlargement focus and attempt to give to the Western Balkans clear European perspective.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic took part in a working dinner in Skopje on Wednesday, the Serbian government announced.

The dinner was organized by EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev "for representatives of the Western Balkans as part of the visit of Mogherini to the region."

The topics discussed were European integration, current political and security situation, as well as regional political and economic cooperation, a statement said.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric told TV Prva that representatives of Kosovo Albanians appear as “unserious and dishonest people,” when it comes to their obligation to establish Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.

Djuric also touched upon a visit of an EU High Representative Federica Mogherini to Belgrade today.
