“It is unacceptable to us for a self-proclaimed state to become member of Interpol. Eventual membership at Interpol would give them a short access to pressing charges and putting them directly into power, without mediation from UNMIK,” Drecun said.

President of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija of the Serbian Parliament Milovan Drecun says that the arrest of Bogdan Mitrović in Mushtishtë/Mušutište is an example of intimidation, and a message to the expelled Serbs not to return to Kosovo.

Head of Serbia’s Parliamentary Commission for for Kosovo, Milovan Drecun said today that the initiative to start an internal dialogue on Kosovo, does not mean that Serbia is ready to recognize Kosovo as an independent state, but to deal with proposals and see final solution of the problem.

According to him, Serbia’s proposal for the solution of the Kosovo problem should be presented to Albanians and the international community, in order to open discussions on the matter, reported Serbian news agency, Tanjug.

Drecun – Last attempt to prosecute KLA crimes (N1, B92)

B92 reported on the statement of the Chair of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo, Milovan Drecun, who said that the Special Court for KLA War Crimes is the last chance to prosecute crimes committed by KLA members.

He further said that the Working Group, established by the Assembly Committee gathered all the evidences related to the war crimes, responsible bodies in Serbia have, and they would be put on disposal to the Kosovo Special Prosecution.
