Drecun: US can discipline Thaci and Haradinaj (BETA, RTS)

Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairman Milovan Drecun said he believes a way would be found to abolish tariffs Pristina imposed on the goods from Serbia, BETA news agency reports.

He added Kosovo Prime Minister Haradinaj and President Thaci need to “find an exit strategy” from a situation they brought themselves in, otherwise they risk losing support of “the sponsors of Kosovo independence.”

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS morning news edition, that UN Secretary General report on Kosovo says the situation there is bad and Kosovo achieved no progress.

Drecun said, the UN SG report depicts a realistic situation in Kosovo. “These reports are rather balanced lately, and they are one of the biggest political obstacles on the international scene for Pristina to attempt to complete the ethnic cleansing of the Serbian people and disable any agreement with Belgrade,” Drecun said.

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS the statute on the mining complex Trepca adopted by the Kosovo Assembly reflects that Pristina in addition to political, does legal violence too.

Drecun added Pristina for years is attempting to take away private properties belonging to the Serbs, and it is passing different laws, so the Serbs stand no chance to prove their ownership.

Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairperson Milovan Drecun thinks taxes on goods from central Serbia will be abolished, Tanjug news agency reported.

Drecun added that Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj now tries to act in line with USA wishes, but at the same time “avoid the embarrassment.”

Drecun: KLA leaders should be indicted, not witnesses (Tanjug, RTS)

Chairman of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun thinks that the first group of former KLA commanders, who are supposed to go to The Hague, should be indicted, and not on the list of witnesses, Tanjug news agency reports.

“According to me, those invited now, are rather candidates to be indicted than becoming witnesses, but perhaps some of them could be a protected witness,” Drecun said.

Drecun: We must accept that Greater Albania will be created (TV Pink, B92, Beta)

Serbian Assembly Committee on Kosovo and Metohija chair Milovan Drecun has assessed that the creation of Greater Albania is an irreversible process.

Drecun also told Belgrade based TV Pink that this will be created "in one form or the other" and that this is being done in order to create a counterpoint to Serbia - a territory that could, with its size, resources and population be able to compete with Serbia.

Drecun: Albania looking to annex our territory (B92, RTS, Tanjug)

Milovan Drecun says the "erasing" of the border between Albania and Kosovo is one of the steps leading to Albania's annexation of a part of Serbia's territory.

The chairman of the Serbian National Assembly's Committee on Kosovo and Metohija added that this would place a part of the international community that supports Serbia before "a fait accompli."
Drecun, a member of the ruling SNS party, told Serbia's public broadcaster RTS that Albania is doing everything to complete the violent annexation of Kosovo.

Brnabic: Today is difficult day, does not contribute to cooperation in region (BETA, Danas)

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today is a difficult day for her, but that Serbia would continue its path towards peace and prosperity, BETA news agency reports.

She added today’s decision of the Kosovo Assembly to pass the laws on transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces does not contribute to the cooperation in the region.

She underlined Serbia would continue its path towards peace and prosperity since without stable region there is no stable Serbia either.

Drecun: Kosovo army can seriously endanger Serbian people (RTS)

Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairman, Milovan Drecun told RTS Albanians in Kosovo are creating an army with the help of some NATO member states. He added, that the so-called army already exists, it is armed and organized in a military manner.

Speaking for RTS morning news edition Drecun said that this army, announced to be established on December 14, opens the room for misuse of it by the civil sector.

"Confidential report: Albanians testify about organ trade" (RTS, Tanjug, B92)

The chair of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo has presented a confidential, so far unpublished report, where eight Albanians testify about human organ trade in Kosovo, B92 reports.

The Albanians in question were members of the co-called KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army"), Milovan Drecun, a member of the Serbian National Assembly from the ranks of the ruling SNS, told public broadcaster RTS on Thursday.
