Serbs visits graves in Kosovo, find them damaged (N1, KIM radio, Kossev)

Serbs who have left their homes in Pristina, Kosovo, and are now living in Belgrade and Nis have on Saturday visited the partially cleaned up Pristina Orthodox cemetery but again found some of the gravestones damaged.

The Serbs traveled to Kosovo with two buses and were joined by Serbs internally displaced in villages around Pristina. The groups visited the graveyard marking the Orthodox holiday of St. Demetrios, or Mitrovdan.

President of the Serbian List and the Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakic thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Director of the Office for KiM Marko Djuric for the support they provided, reports KIM radio.

Rakic said that the projects, approved yesterday in support of the economic prosperity of Serbs in Kosovo, would significantly improve the lives of Serbs in Kosovo, adding that “this is also an example on how to fight for KiM, for the Serbian people living down there”.

Lekaj cancelled a visit to Gracanica because Kosovo markings were not set (KIM radio, Beta)

Due to the refusal of local officials to place the state symbols of Kosovo in the premises planned for the meeting, Minister of Infrastructure Pal Lekaj gave up his visit to the Municipality of Gracanica, which was announced today, reports KIM radio, quoting Beta news agency.

"For Lekaj and his cabinet, it is unacceptable to be in an institution that does not identify with the symbols of the state to which it belongs, the Republic of Kosovo," the Ministry of Infrastructure said in a statement.

Kontakt plus radio today has dealt with the issue of the residents of Preoce and Ugljare villages. The radio writes on its website that the citizens do not know anything about the possibility of becoming residents of Kosovo Polje. SLS demands annulment of the decision on allocation of land to Kosovo Polje (KIM radio)

Members of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) in the Gracanica Municipal Assembly demand the annulment of the recently adopted decision on the organization of cadastral lines between the municipalities of Gracanica and Kosovo Polje in the cadastral zones of the Preoce and Ugljare village, reports KIM radio.

Members of the SLS, however, voted against this decision, but it was adopted by the majority of the other members of the Municipal Assembly of Gracanica.

Brussels first time "about changing borders" (KIM radio, B92, Tanjug)

The European Parliament has adopted an amendment related to talks on possible border corrections.

Secretary general of the European Movement in Serbia, Suzana Grubjesic, told Tanjug agency that the amendment was adopted as part of the solution within the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, in order to try to "pull out" Brussels dialogue from the deadlock.

Minister Jevtic congratulates the Day of Bosniaks (KIM Radio)

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns in Resignation Dalibor Jevtic congratulated all Bosniak citizens the Day of Bosniaks, reports KIM radio.

"The common goal of the non-majority peoples of Kosovo is the same, to persevere in the struggle for equality, which implies respect for all diversities, religious, cultural and personal rights of individuals", said Jevtic in a congratulatory note.

Director of the Office for KiM Marko Djuric, at the meeting with the German Ambassador in Serbia, Thomas Schieb, said that Serbia is determined to protect interests and improve the living conditions of the Serbian people in Kosovo, and that it is concerned about the renewed wave of pressure and attacks on Kosovo Serbs and their property in the past period.
