Hoxhaj: PAN has numbers to form new government (Indeksonline)

Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, said at the meeting called by President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci with representatives of political parties that PAN coalition has sufficient votes to form the new government of Kosovo. He also said PDK is ready for the Assembly’s constitutive session whenever it is announced.

Two memorandums of cooperation to be signed at CEC (RTK)

Two memorandums of cooperation will be signed today at the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Initially, CEC will be signing a memorandum of cooperation with the EU Office in Kosovo, for monitoring of the early parliamentary elections. Another memorandum of cooperation will be signed between the government of Kosovo and the EU Office in Kosovo. These memorandums will be signed by the head of CEC, Valdete Daka, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj and the EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova.

Hoxhaj: recognition by the five EU countries makes Kosovo stronger (Koha)

Kosovo’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj, continued his second day of his visit to Brussels with meetings at the European Parliament.

At the meeting with the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Hoxhaj spoke about recognition of Kosovo by the five EU member states which have not recognized the independence of Kosovo yet.

“The five remaining countries should recognize Kosovo. This strengthens not only Kosovo but also the EU,” Hoxhaj said.

Tanin: Only UN Security Council can shut down UNMIK (various media)

The Committee for Foreign Affairs, met today with Zahir Tanin, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General. After the meeting which lasted more than two hours, Tanin said to the media that UNMIK is a decision of the Security Council and that this is the reason why they are here. He also said that they will be in Kosovo as long as the Security Council wants them to be.

Hoxhaj: Decision on Haradinaj disappointing and unacceptable (Lajmi.net)

Kosovo’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj, expressed his concern with regards to the decision of the Colmar Court in France to delay the session for the former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.

During the regular plenary session of the Assembly, Hoxhaj said that today’s decision of the Colmar court is disappointing.

Kosovo’s foreign minister has written to his counterparts in the European Union, the US and other countries denouncing what he said were “numerous acts of provocation and aggression” from Serbia.

Enver Hoxhaj called on the EU, which facilitates Pristina-Belgrade talks aimed at normalising ties, to urge Serbia to remain committed to good relations an official said.

Hoxhaj: Turkish investments in Kosovo more a myth than reality (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj said for Klan Kosova TV that Turkey’s investments in Kosovo and Balkans are more a myth than a reality. “EU is the greatest economic partner of Kosovo. Most services and donations come from the EU. Then, except for the U.S., Germany is the biggest donor,” Hoxhaj said, denying that only Turkey invests in Kosovo. “If we check statistics, our greatest investment was IPKO from Slovenia.
