Visar Ymeri arrested again (Kosovapress)

The leader of the Vetevendosje movement, Visar Ymeri, has been arrested again today by Kosovo Police. Vetevendosje movement announced the news through a press release, where they also requested interruptions of political persecution.

They claimed that litigation towards the Vetevendosje movement, are set up and added that violence and political prosecution have become methods of the government in Kosovo.

Dejan Vlaskovic, a member of the Kosovo Police rapid reaction unit, was brutally beaten up on Monday evening in Mitrovica North. Sources told the news agency that Vlaskovic was off duty and driving under the influence of alcohol when he hit a parked vehicle. Several people walked out of a restaurant nearby and beat up Vlaskovic unconscious. “Ivan Mladjevic, a known drug dealer, was the one that beat up Vlaskovic the most,” a source said. Vlaskovic is now receiving treatment at the Mitrovica north hospital.

Special police unit was ready to arrest Seselj (Zeri)

Kosovo’s institutions were mobilized to react if Vojislav Seselj, leader of the Serbian Radical Party, entered the territory of Kosovo during the weekend. Seselj, who was recently acquitted on war crime charges by the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY), said he wanted to visit Serb-inhabited areas in the northern part of Kosovo. After the Kosovo Ministry of Interior Affairs issued an arrest warrant, the Kosovo Police deployed its most elite unit - FIT - to Mitrovica.

Two girls verbally and physically assaulted in Preoce village (RTK2, TV Most, KIM radio, Blic)

Two nights ago, in the village of Preoce, around 8 pm, unknown persons verbally and physically attacked two girls, sisters aged 12 and 14 years, their parents told the RTK2. A month ago in Gracanica, a girl (9 years) was attacked. However, both cases were not reported to the police.

A Serb from Novo Naselje village detained (KIM radio)

Yesterday around 2.20 pm at the Merdare crossing, Sinisa Arsic from Novo Naselje village, was detained.

KIM radio learned that the police detained him for possession of payroll lists for workers of the Serbian municipality of Stimlje.

As confirmed by Sinisa's brother to the RTV KIM, this happened when the police searched Arsic's vehicle, as he was returning from Serbia proper, and found documents for the municipality of Stimlje under the Serbian system.

Kosovo Police escorted leader of the Vetevendosje movement Visar Ymeri, to court, for the session on the case of fighting with the MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bekim Haxhiu.

Visar Ymeri, MP Rexhep Selimi, former MP Florin Krasniqi and driver, Besart Bujupi, are accused to have physically attacked Bekim Haxhiu known as Kamishi in 2012, in front of the Kosovo Assembly facilities.

Police: Seselj will be arrested if he enters Kosovo (Kallxo.com)

After Vojislav Seselj’s announcements that he will arrive today in Mitrovica North to hold a pre-election campaign speech at a gathering, Kosovo Police announced that it possesses an arrest warrant and that it is determined to implement it.

Former mayor of Strpce/Shterpce: Reasons for my arrest are political (KIM radio)

After his release from detention, former mayor of Strpce/Shterpce and the SRS candidate for deputy in the Serbian Parliament Zvonko Mihajlovic says that his apprehension by the special units of the Kosovo police was politically motivated.

Mihajlovic was apprehended on suspicion of possession of weapons.

Serbian list condemned the bomb attack (KiM radio)

MPs of the Serbian List condemned the attack on the house of Zlatko Lazic. They urged relevant authorities to find the perpetrators, because that is the only way to stop "bomb attacks across Kosovo". "Unfortunately, during just one day two bomb attacks happened in Kosovo and Metohija. The attacks targeted premises in Serbian areas, which indicates inadequate protection and security of Serbian houses, but also public and important locations in Serbian areas," reads the statement of the Serbian list.
