Marko Jaksic: General capitulation is expected (Danas)

Marko Jaksic, member of the Serb “Fatherland” Movement from Kosovo told Danas daily Serbs from Kosovo do not know what a plan for Kosovo would contain, but they can sense what it could take from secret visits of the Serbian President to Paris and meeting with Hashim Thaci, as well as from his current stay in New York.

“Vucic to meet Guterres” (Blic)

Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic would meet tomorrow with the UN SG Antonio Guterres in New York, Blic daily unofficially learns.

“Vucic have met already with people from the UN and USA administration, from whom he requested support in resolving the Kosovo issue. The meeting with Guterres is planned for Wednesday,” source from diplomatic cycles told Blic daily.

According to Blic, Vucic’s visit to New York is a continuation of a diplomatic offensive that is already ongoing.

"Vucic and Thaci invited, EU expects full implementation..." (B92)

The EU expects full implementation of all Belgrade-Pristina dialogue agreements, including the one to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

This has been stated by European Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic on the eve of a new round of technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina delegations, which begins later in the afternoon in Brussels and will last until Wednesday.

Mitchell: Kosovo has right to establish forces, it is not threat (BETA, B92)

USA Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Wess Mitchell urged both parties to implement the obligations from the Brussels agreement, Serbian media reported.

Speaking at a press conference, following the meeting with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Mitchell said that Kosovo has the right to establish professional forces that would deal with security, and it would be no threat to Serbia and Serbs.

Dacic: Albanians and some in intl. community are lying to Vucic (B92, RTS)

Ivica Dacic says he, bearing in mind his experience, believes that a part of the international community and Albanians from Kosovo are lying to President Vucic, reports B92 portal, quoting Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister told RTS that the Albanians do not want compromise, but only recognition (of Kosovo). "There is no blackmail that can force Serbia to recognize an independent Kosovo," he said.

Roundtables within internal dialogue for first time in Kosovo, Selakovic and Kozarev to participate (KoSSev)

For the first time, roundtables within internal dialogue on Kosovo would be held today and tomorrow in Kosovo, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija confirmed to KoSSev portal.

Unlike those organized in Belgrade, participation of the Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric is not confirmed, KoSSev portal further reported, adding Deputy Director, Dusan Kozarev and Secretary General of the Serbian President, Nikola Selakovic would be present.

SANU to publish book with academics’ papers on Kosovo (Tanjug, KIM Radio)

Deputy President of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU), Academic Ljubomir Maksimovic announced the SANU would start publishing on 12 March 2018, a book containing academics’ papers on Kosovo, including conclusions from discussions in different SANU’s departments on this topic, Serbian media reported.

This, according to Maksimovic, would be SANU’s contribution to the internal dialogue on Kosovo, launched by the President Aleksandar Vucic.

Belgrade Mufti: Kosovo is cradle of Serbia (Tanjug, Vecernje Novosti, Srpski Telegraf)

Islamic Community of Serbia (ICS) has respect towards Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and relatively good relations with the state authorities, Belgrade Mufti, Mustafa Jusufspahic told Serbian media.

Mufti Jusufspahic added, this religious community would like if its opinion on Kosovo is taken.

“We do not like our country to be torn apart, and it is not just to separate the cradle of this country,” Jusufspahic said, conveying the stance of the Islamic Community of Serbia on this matter.
