Djukanovic: Thaci and Vucic testing public opinion (Pobjeda, Danas)

By presenting various proposals such as delineation and border corrections, both Vucic and Thaci are testing public opinion to see how far they can go in reaching a possible compromise, that should be made by the end of this or beginning of the next year, Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy, Dragan Djukanovic told Podgorica-based daily Pobjeda. According to Djukanovic, one of the guidance of the final phase of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is linked to the Kosovo membership in international organizations, which is one of the unresolved issues.

“Brnabic spoke with Thaci” (Tanjug, B92, Belta)

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke on the margins of the Munich Security Conference in Minsk with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, B92 reports, referring to the Belorussian news agency Belta. According to the agency, Serbian Prime Minister Brnabic told the journalists they spoke about Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, and she expressed hope the two sides would manage to reach a compromise solution, that would lead towards better stability in the region.

Turkish president voices support for agreement on Kosovo (N1, RTS)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic that Ankara will support any agreement on Kosovo reached by Serbs and Albanians, the Serbian president’s cabinet said in Wednesday’s press release.

Speaking to Vucic by telephone, Erdogan said that Turkey will support any agreement reached by Belgrade and Pristina as part of their dialogue on Kosovo.

Brussels first time "about changing borders" (KIM radio, B92, Tanjug)

The European Parliament has adopted an amendment related to talks on possible border corrections.

Secretary general of the European Movement in Serbia, Suzana Grubjesic, told Tanjug agency that the amendment was adopted as part of the solution within the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, in order to try to "pull out" Brussels dialogue from the deadlock.

Abbott Sava Janjic today on FB reacted to the Belgrade's plan for the protection of sacred sites in Kosovo saying that there is nothing new in this plan.

Janjic wrote that ''Belgrade's glorious plan on protection of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) holy shrines in KiM, published today in the media, is nothing new, but a repetition of what Kostunica's government with the SOC in 2007 agreed with Albanians and Ahtisaari, and which already is included in Kosovo law on protected zones.''

European Parliament for any agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, in line with international law (RTS)

The foreign policy committee of the European Parliament tomorrow should adopt the text of the report on Serbia, which includes a compromise amendment on the possible correction of the borders between Serbia and Kosovo, reports Radio Television Serbia (RTS).

"Any agreement can only be accepted if it is mutually consistent and in line with the overall stability of the region and international law," the text of the agreed amendment states.
