Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said it is not time yet for Serbia’s stance and response to the Pristina’s platform on negotiations with Belgrade, FoNet news agency reported.

Brnabic told journalists in Belgrade, it is needed to hear stances of the international actors first, foremost that of Brussels, which is a guarantor of the agreement and a dialogue.

She added Brussels said nothing regarding the latest situation and considers it as improper as well as expects EU reaction.

Former Serbian MP Dusan Prorokovic submitted the Belgrade platform proposal for dialogue with Pristina to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia yesterday, KoSSev portal reports.

“A document entitled ‘The Platform Proposal for a Dialogue on a Comprehensive and Legally Binding Agreement for the Normalization of Relations between Belgrade and Pristina’ was submitted to the National Assembly, “ Dusan Prorokovic told KoSSev, immediately after filing the document at the assembly administrative office.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with US Under-Secretary of State David Hale, B92 reports. The situation in Kosovo and Metohija was the main topic of discussion, given that Hale after Belgrade is scheduled to visit Pristina.

Following the meeting, the US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott wrote on Twitter account that “re-starting the dialogue is not an easy job, but Serbia’s future prosperity depends on achieving progress in relations with Pristina.”

The session of the Serbian Council for National Security, convened by President Aleksandar Vucic, started a little after 08:30 hours CET on Friday in Belgrade.

The meeting is attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, security agency BIA chief Bratislav Gasic, First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Army Chief Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilovic, Director of the Police Vladimir Rebic, and other officials.

At a recent meeting of Quint member states, Great Britain has prevented the adoption of a strict conclusion on the abolishment of Pristina tariffs imposed on goods from central Serbia, Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti reported.

Despite many officials from the EU and the USA, with stronger or weaker decisiveness, voiced their opposition against the tariffs over the last three months, London again took a stance contrary to Belgrade’s interests, the daily added.

Members and supporters of the nationalist Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and the signatories to the Appeal for Defence of Kosovo and Metohija, Belgrade’s official name for its former province, organised a protest on Monday called “Stop to Treason!” “Kosovo is Serbia,” N1 reported.

DSS does not take part in the protests in Belgrade, but the organisers said their rally was not against them, but that they only added the issue of Kosovo because the Saturdays’ demonstration did not deal with it.

European Commission Spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told Tanjug news agency the issue of Trepca status should be resolved through legally binding agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

She added, “that all open issues between the two sides should be resolved through finalization of the dialogue.”

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS the statute on the mining complex Trepca adopted by the Kosovo Assembly reflects that Pristina in addition to political, does legal violence too.

Drecun added Pristina for years is attempting to take away private properties belonging to the Serbs, and it is passing different laws, so the Serbs stand no chance to prove their ownership.

All twenty-eight EU member-states conveyed a message to Pristina authorities there would be no continuation of the Brussels dialogue until Pristina revokes its decision on 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Danas daily reports referring to diplomatic sources.

The sources also confirmed to Danas, this was made clear to the representatives of recently appointed Pristina’s team for Brussels dialogue, two days ago during their visit to Brussels.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said she is pleased with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding the visit absolutely cannot impede Serbia on its path towards Euro-integration, Tanjug news agency reported.

She noted Brussels is aware of Serbian and Russian traditional ties, political and economic ones, same as Moscow knows about Serbia’s EU aspiration.

Brnabic also said it was important to hear the message that Russia supports Belgrade and Pristina dialogue, and it would support any solution that suits Belgrade.
