Albanians from the south of Serbia seek reciprocity with northern Kosovo (Kossev, FoNet, N1)

Representatives of all parties acting among Albanians in Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja and representatives of the non-governmental sector agreed that the Assembly of all Albanian councillors from these three municipalities will meet on July 14th and adopt a statement on political events in the region, the President of the Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA), Ragmi Mustafa told news agency FoNet.

On Monday, a commission was formed from representatives of all political parties, which will prepare the statement.

EU-Western Balkan Summit in London on Monday and Tuesday (N1)

Great Britain will host the EU-Western Balkan Summit in London on Monday and Tuesday, with less than a year until its exit from the European Union becomes a reality.

This fifth summit convened under the Berlin Process will bring together top officials of six Western Balkan countries, European institutions' representatives, as well as top officials of nine EU member-states, including Croatia's Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and Interior and Foreign Ministers Davor Bozinovic and Marija Pejcinovic Buric.

Politika: Serbia, Kosovo presidents to meet later this month (N1)

The Presidents of Serbia and Kosovo could meet in Brussels late this month before the summer break starts, Belgrade-based daily Politika writes in Monday' edition citing unofficial information.

Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci could meet with European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini on or around July 25, the daily reports.

Mogherini’s spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic told Politika that no date has been set for the next high-level meeting.

Serbian, Kosovo police meet under EULEX auspices (N1)

The EULEX mission said on its Facebook page on Wednesday that it had organized a meeting of the Kosovo and Serbia police to discuss the investigation into the killing of Kosovo Serb political leader Oliver Ivanovic.

The KoSSev portal said that the Facebook post was put up a day after the meeting without providing details of the meeting or its venue.

Serbia’s PM: No Govt. reshuffle during battle for Kosovo (N1, Vecernje Novosti)

Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said on Wednesday she believes that “if and when” Belgrade agrees on a compromise with Pristina, the people will stand by their President and Government.

In an interview with the Belgrade Vecernje Novosti daily on the occasion of the first year of her premiership, Brnabic said it would not be any cabinet reshuffle “as long as the battle for Kosovo is going on.”

Pope Francis should come to Serbia, Belgrade FM says (Politika, N1)

Only a day after the Serb Orthodox Church (SPC) Patriarch said it was still not time for the head of the Roman Catholic Church to visit Serbia, the country Foreign Minister said Pope Francis should come.

Ivica Dacic told the Belgrade daily Politika on Wednesday that there would be no better Pope for Serbia and that he believed that the current head of the Roman Catholic Church should visit the country.

EU: The change of format would take away the dialogue's power (N1, Beta)

Officials in the European Union believe that changing the format of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue would not speed up the settlement of the normalization of the relations of the two sides and would only take the power away; and instead of dealing with the essence, the engagement of the negotiators, at least for some time, would be about who could be involved in the dialogue, reports today N1 quoting Beta agency.

Serbia’s academic calls on President to resign over Kosovo (N1)

Dusan Teodorovic, a member of Serbia’s Academy of Sciences and Arts, called on Monday on President Aleksandar Vucic to resign for failing to solve the problem of Kosovo after six years of negotiations.

Speaking to N1 Belgrade morning talk show, Teodorovic said Vucic should resign after saying that Serbia has nothing in Kosovo today, and that "even a meter of Kosovo is a gain."
