Serbian negotiators make concessions easily (Kontakt plus)

Rada Trajkovic, Leader of the European Movement of Serbs, told Kontakt plus, commenting on the agreement on justice, that the Serbian negotiators lightly made concessions to the Albanian side and so have brought Serbs from Kosovo in a situation where they have to agree under pressure.

Rada Trajkovic adds that for the Kosovo Serbs is a huge problem departure of the Serbian judiciary and the judiciary of the state of Serbia.

Trepca must be discussed (TV Most)

The issue of Trepca can’t be resolved by the Kosovo government, but neither by the Serbian Government as well. Trepca has to be discussed, as was agreed. The situation over Trepca is currently overcome since the issue will be discussed in the course of property distribution, when that issue comes on Brussels’ agenda, said Mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviq, Dragan Jablanovic.

Marko Đurić in North Mitrovica today (KoSSev)

The Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, is due to open a multimedia center today at students’ dormitory in North Mitrovica, carried Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

“The Center occupies a surface of 500 square meters with the cinema, gym, conference center, internet and other services important for improving students’ education and recreation. Total investment amounting to RSD 12,5 million is funded by the Students Center,” writes a communiqué.

Health Center in North Mitrovica lacks medicine (KoSSev)

The biggest problem of the Health Center in North Mitrovica is poor supply with drugs, caused by the strict control of the import of medicine and sanitary material at crossing Jarinje, between northern Kosovo and Serbia proper.

Deputy Director of the Health Center, Zlatan Elek, said that the biggest problem of that institution is procurement of drugs and explained that drugs, which are imported through Jarinje, are blocked and kept there due to custom taxes amounting from 10 to 27 per cent.

The other side of dialogue results (Koha Ditore)

Koha Ditore’s Brussels based correspondent, Augustin Palokaj, writes that many officials in Brussels and other capitals make many statements and praise results reached by the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. “One gets the impression that this dialogue not only resolved the vital issues for the people of Kosovo, but it also saved the world from the third world war. The bitter truth stands in the fact that this dialogue has resolved a few problems, however it caused more obscurity and illusions,” writes Palokaj.

Selimi: 100 per cent of Trepca is ownership of Kosovo (Danas)

“The Government of Kosovo has not changed the decision on the ownership of Trepca. Trepca is one hundred per cent owned by Kosovo, but the question which is under consideration relates to the model of the management of this property and future private investments. Currently, Trepca is managed through the Kosovo Privatization Agency, in a process that has been declared legal, during UNMIK's mandate,” told Petrit Selimi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.

Peaceful protests in northern Kosovo have ended: Kosovo government proposed withdrawal of the Law on Public Enterprises (KoSSev, RTK2, TV Most)

Kosovo government decided on today’s session to withdraw the proposal of the draft amendments to the Law on Public Enterprises from the assembly's agenda. The government also decided that new Law on Trepča should be drafted instead in order that all issues related to the company, which is one of the most important economic subjects in Kosovo, are made clearer.

Peaceful protests in Zvečan and Leposavić (TV Most)

Employees of the Trepča mining company in northern Kosovo have staged protests due to draft amendments of the law on public companies adopted by the Kosovo government, which would enable Trepča to become the property of Kosovo.

The protests are currently peaceful, and employees are flying Trepča and Serbian flags. TV Most reports that the people of Zvečan/Zveçan and the local self-government are also supporting the protesters. It is expected that Trepča representatives will address the protesters.
