“For stabilization of Kosovo it is important to shed light on murder of Oliver Ivanovic” (Kontakt plus radio, RTV KIM)

Kosovo Deputy Interior Minister, Milan Radojevic is pleased with a course but not with a pace of the investigation into the murder of Oliver Ivanovic. Florian Qehaja does not expect institutions would be efficient in this regard since “they have not shown that in the previous cases.” while Ksenija Bozovic said that all are bearing responsibility for the assassination of Oliver Ivanovic, leader of Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP).

These remarks were made in the RTV KIM broadcast titled Sporazum.

One of directions into an investigation of Oliver Ivanovic murder leads towards possibility that order givers and the perpetrators are the same persons who have organized the murder of Dmitrije Janicijevic, four years ago in Mitrovica North, Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti reported over the weekend.

According to the daily “there are many similarities between the cowardly murder of Oliver Ivanovic and his godfather that directed part of the investigation towards identifying possible connections between these two cases”.

Kuburovic: There is no reciprocity in cooperation with the Pristina authorities (TV Prva, N1)

Serbian Minister of Justice Nela Kuburovic told TV station Prva that there is no new information on the investigation of Ivanovic’s murder, reports N1.

“Although the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime responded to almost all requests/inquiries that were sent by Pristina authorities, five until now, on the other hand, we did not have such reciprocity when it comes to the cooperation” Kuburovic says.

Momcilo Trajkovic requested responsible bodies to investigate murder of Oliver Ivanovic, and reminded participants on a video spot broadcast on TV Most and TV Pink during the last election campaign in Kosovo.

Raskovic-Ivic: Gouillon instead of Djuric (BETA, B92)

Deputy President of Peoples’ Party, Sanda Raskovic Ivic requested yesterday that the state urgently distance itself from the crime that replaced Serbian institutions in Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

According to the Serbian media, Raskovic-Ivic also requested that the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director Marko Djuric submits resignation and to be replaced with a French humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon, as well as to establish an Assembly Committee that would deal with the circumstances of a murder of Oliver Ivanovic.

Memorial plaque dedicated to Oliver Ivanović, the leader of the CI “Freedom, Democracy, Justice”, was unveiled today at the site of his murder, Serbian media reported.

On the memorial plaque, below Ivanović’s photo, a quote was written, which is one of Ivanović’s earlier statements.

“I have to endure, because if I give up, I will admit that they are stronger than anything I believed in. No evil can last forever. At one time, there will probably be justice. I will never ever leave Kosovo and Metohia.”
