“Our journalists objective and professional” RTK2 response to Srpska Lista statement (Kontakt plus radio)

“The RTK2 journalists always carry out their work in a professional and impartial manner, in line with regulations in force. We are paying particular attention before and during the election campaign,” reads the RTK2 management statement sent to the Kontakt plus radio.

The statement came as a response to the Srpska Lista, which said yesterday RTK2 journalists were unprofessional while reporting on the protest in the Vrbovac village.

Who are the new Serbian ministers in the new Kosovo government? (RTK2)

RTK2 reports that, in the new Kosovo government led by Ramush Haradinaj, the Serbian list should receive three ministries.

According to RTK2, the Serbian List will have the Minister of Local Government and Administration, and headed by Ivan Teodosijević, who performed the same function before the elections.

Serbian List will have a Minister of Returns, and this should be Dalibor Jevtić, who in the previous two mandates held this post.

CI SDP: Serbian List makes pressure on our candidates (RTK, Kontakt plus radio)

After Tatjana Ivaz and Dalibor Antić withdrew the candidacy for councillors in front of CI SDP Oliver Ivanović, Tomislav Dejanović from the CI "For Our Zvečan" led by Dragiša Milović also asked withdrawel of his candidacy in the upcoming local elections on October 22.

He, like the previous two candidates, publicly supported the Serbian List.

SLS reaction to the Sputnik's article: Inaccurate and malicious information (KIM radio, KoSSev, RTK2)

The Independent Liberal Party (SLS) reacted today to the Sputnik's text "Secret Recipe for the Kosovo Army", that media in Belgrade and in Kosovo quoted.

According to the SLS announcement, "some media, after the elections, continue to publish false and malicious information about some Serb politicians who are not part of the Serbian List."

Petrović: SLS ready for the position of deputy Assembly speaker (RTK2)

Slobodan Petrović, the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) leader, said today that the party expressed readiness for the position of deputy chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo.

There is no ambiguity regarding the possibility, the Kosovo Constitution allows the Serbian community to have a guaranteed vice-speaker position - said Petrović, who is also the only deputy of the SLS in parliament.

Janjić: Normalization of relations does not lead to recognition of Kosovo (RTK2, Blic, Dnevnik)

Political analyst Dušan Janjić told RTK2 that a meeting at the presidential level in Brussels is of great importance for the normalization of relations.

In a statement for RTK2, Janjić estimated that no concrete decisions will be made at a meeting Thaçi- Vučić. He said that several months of “serious adaptation to this new format" will be needed for the political dialogue of the president of Serbia and Kosovo.

New protests in Vranište over hydro power-plant reconstruction (RTK2)

RTK 2 reported on a protest by the citizens in the village of Vranište, Dragash/Dragaš municipality over reconstruction of a hydro power-plant. As Šukrija Aslani, stated to RTK 2, contractor commenced the work, although court decision is still pending.

“Hydro power-plant should be placed at 49 land parcels, privately owned. The contractor wants to go through these parcels, and we have no insight into it, where and how it will be done, and we do not have documentation about it,” Aslani said.

Advanced force of Kosovo withdrew from the elections (RTK2)

RTK 2 reports that party Advanced force of Kosovo dropped from the upcoming early parliamentary elections.

President of this party Aleksandar Grujić said that decision came because of the "unstable political situation and the appeal of President of Serbia Aleksandra Vučić to Serbs in Kosovo, to show solidarity and political unity with the state of Serbia".

He also said that he and his colleagues want to show that "there are Serbs for who the interest of the state of Serbia comes first".
