Pristina is yet to officially apply for UNESCO membership, and that is why the topic has not been included in the session of organization's Executive Board.

The session, which started on Wednesday, will determine the agenda for the General Conference that will be held in November, RTS is reporting.

Since UNESCO's plenary meetings will start as soon as on Monday, the chances of Pristina applying are minimal, Serbia's ambassador to UNESCO, Darko Tanaskovic, has confirmed.

In the case of Kosovo was told that "unilateral moves are possible, and then you will depend on the affection of great powers" - there is no international law, this is the policy of force, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić told RTS.

Reactions of the EU and the member states to the referendum in Catalonia are unanimous - they are for the constitutional unity of Spain, as French President Emanuel Macron said. The EC spokesman points out that Kosovo and Catalonia cannot be compared, reports RTS.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that "a difficult compromise" when it comes to Kosovo does not mean that only one side is satisfied.

He said that when it comes to Kosovo a compromise was important, "in order to live in peace."

"I would neither add nor take anything away when it comes to what I said at the UN. Kosovo will not join the UN, unless we are satisfied with something, and we cannot be satisfied if they want us to recognize Kosovo," Vucic told RTS late on Tuesday.

In less than a month in the north of Kosovo, the court and the prosecutor's office should start working; it was agreed in Brussels at the last meeting of Serbian and Kosovo Presidents, Aleksandar Vučić with Hashim Thaçi. The Kosovo Judicial Council undertook all technical actions, candidate admission is done, and now in progress are works for the arrangement of the court building in the northern part of Mitrovica.

One month before the local elections, only leading Albanian parties began campaigning in Kosovo. In the October 22nd elections, 91 political parties and civic initiatives will take part. There are also independent candidates for mayors and councillors of municipal assemblies.

Since the middle of last week, when a new wave of mass departure of Albanians was registered, the Kosovo authorities suspended the departure of buses from Pristina to Belgrade, and banned bus operators from crossing administrative line Merdare. If a bus leaves Dragaš, Prizren, or Gračanica to Belgrade, they have to stop in front of the Merdare crossing.

The Serbian list has the strength and the government in Pristina depends on the List, says President of the Serbian List Goran Rakić in the News of the Radio Television of Serbia.

He says that Serbian list will not blackmail that ''will not push a finger in the eyes of the Albanians'' but that they will be a stone in a shoe that will constantly remind Pristina of its obligations, Rakić told RTS.

President Aleksandar Vučić will address the nation Tuesday this evening at 20:00 hours, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

RTS learns that  President Vučić intends to speak about "broader political topics, but also the internal dialogue on resolving the Kosovo issue."

Vučić will speak from the Presidency of Serbia in Belgrade.

The 120-seat Kosovo Assembly on Sunday elected Ramush Haradinaj, the PDK-led coalition candidate, as new head of the Kosovo government.

61 voted in favor, while one member of the Assembly abstained.

After the session, members of the Self-Determination and the coalition gathered around the LDK left the session and did not attend the taking of the oath of office of Haradinaj and the members of his government.

For several nights in a row, hundreds of people have been arriving at the bus station in Pristina, looking for ways to reach the countries of Western Europe.

RTS reported this late on Thursday.

Many people are at the station when there are no departures, except for Belgrade - and Belgrade, they say, is the first step on their way to Western Europe.
