Dacic: Mogherini confirmed Kosovo agreement must be ratified by UN (Beta, N1)

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov asked the EU’s Federica Mogherini on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and she said any potential agreement between the two sides would have to be ratified by the UN Security Council, Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said.

"This is evidence that Russia is monitoring the situation and that they won’t just be silent observers," Dacic said.

Kosovo Assembly Vice President Xhavit Haliti said that Pristina and Belgrade would not be asked much about the agreement on normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

He told Pristina based KTV that a legally binding agreement would be reached this year, and only thanks to the high pressure of Western diplomacy, reports KIM radio.

Milovan Drecun says the "erasing" of the border between Albania and Kosovo is one of the steps leading to Albania's annexation of a part of Serbia's territory.

The chairman of the Serbian National Assembly's Committee on Kosovo and Metohija added that this would place a part of the international community that supports Serbia before "a fait accompli."
Drecun, a member of the ruling SNS party, told Serbia's public broadcaster RTS that Albania is doing everything to complete the violent annexation of Kosovo.

Armed Albanian formations cannot enter North – Dacic (Tanjug, B92)

Foreign Minister and First Deputy PM Ivica Dacic says no armed formations of Albanians can enter northern Kosovo without the consent of KFOR.

Dacic added, speaking on Monday, that this agreement that had been reached with NATO should be translated into a directive that everyone in the field should respect - "in order to avoid a situation that would trigger major problems in Kosovo and Metohija."

Djuric: An illegal armed formation, KFOR to disarm them (Serbian media)

Regional broadcaster N1 reports that Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric told reporters in the Government of Serbia that Kosovo Army for Serbia is an illegal armed formation on the territory of Serbia, formed with an aim of violently changing the borders of the country.

"The decision on its formation aims at violent change of the borders of our country and violation of the established position of our southern province by the Constitution and international," Djuric told reporters.
