Serbia is doing everything to help the Serbs in Kosovo (Kontakt plus radio)

Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy, Aleksandra Nikolic said in Mitrovica that Serbia despite the limited economic resources does everything to help the Serbs in Kosovo.

"The needs are enormous and the possibilities are limited and what is worst in economic terms much less. It has nothing to do with the relationship of Serbia towards Kosovo Serbs than with the lack of adequate sources," said Joksimovic.

Courts in Kosovo will continue to work as before (Kontakt plus radio)

Senior Public Prosecutor in Mitrovica, Milan Bigovic said today that the Serbian judges and prosecutors in Kosovo will continue to work as before.

Bigovic in a statement to Radio Kontakt Plus in Mitrovica, denied reports of some media in Kosovo which reported that functions of the employees in the Serbian justice system in Kosovo shall be terminated in March.

- That's not true, we continue to work as before - said Bigovic.

Doctor murdered in her office in northern Kosovo town (TV Most, Kontakt plus, B92)

A 29-year-old doctor was murdered in her office late on Monday in the local healthcare center in Zubin Potok, a town in northern Kosovo.

The woman, Dusanka Andrejevic, was brought to the hospital in North Mitrovica with no vital signs, and attempts to resuscitate her failed, head of the Healthcare Center in Mitrovica Milan Ivanovic told Tanjug.

He explained that the doctor received bullet wounds to her large blood vessels and quickly bled to death.

The Deputy Head of UNMIK, Jennifer Brush said today that Kosovo without a specific status is not good for the people who live in it, whether Albanians are in question or non-Albanians.

Brush said in an interview in the program "Slobodni Srpski" (Free Serbian), that she hoped that the dialogue in Brussels would help to come to the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo in order to live normally.

Serbian negotiators make concessions easily (Kontakt plus)

Rada Trajkovic, Leader of the European Movement of Serbs, told Kontakt plus, commenting on the agreement on justice, that the Serbian negotiators lightly made concessions to the Albanian side and so have brought Serbs from Kosovo in a situation where they have to agree under pressure.

Rada Trajkovic adds that for the Kosovo Serbs is a huge problem departure of the Serbian judiciary and the judiciary of the state of Serbia.

Pantic: The seizure of property in Kosovo will be a model for others (Radio Kontakt Plus)

Krstimir Pantic, MP in the Parliament of Serbia, said that the issue of property rights is unchangeable category everywhere in the world and that it must be valid also in Kosovo and Metohija. "If we allow Kosovo to seize Serbian state property then this would be a bad example, which will be a model for resolving similar issues. This will mean that we are still in the period when the force had primacy over the law and justice," he said.

UNMIK donation for health centre in North Mitrovica (Kontakt Plus Radio)

Representatives of the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) yesterday donated one vehicle and medical equipment to the Health Centre in Mitrovica.

The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Kosovo, Jennifer Brush, said UNMIK was dedicated to providing support to the residents of northern municipalities, to create more democratic and prosperous living conditions.
