Serbian political party “Aktivna Srbija” (Active Serbia) will establish its regional organization in Kosovo, at the same time announcing the participation in Kosovo's extraordinary parliamentary elections - if they occur. This party of social democratic orientation is led by Dr. Dusan Janjic, a recognizable person on the public scene in Serbia and the region.

Decision for sending proposal to the UNESCO General Conference on admission of Kosovo to that organization is expected, said analyst Dusan Janjic in the talk show “Popodne” on RTK2.

President of the Active Serbia Dusan Janjic said that the part of politicians gathered around the Serbian list, especially in the north, wants to thwart the formation of the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities and said that Belgrade should not allow it.

Agreements signed in Brussels, in particular the one on the establishment of Community/Association of Serbian municipalities, are a big thing and will be "powerful instrument" of Serbs in Kosovo, said political analyst Dusan Janjic. He said that he expects the ZSO to start with its work until March.

Janjic believes that the ZSO is "a useful tool that allows you, if you know how to use it, certain advantages over the rest of Kosovo."

Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina must end with a compromise, but it is difficult to say when, said political analyst Dusan Janjic and pointed out that for it would be ideal for Serbia that it starts as soon as possible, would ideally it would be as before, and for Pristina would be difficult whenever it that happens.

The interest of Serbia is to pass, as soon as possible, from the phase of talks in Brussels to the talks on joining the EU, said the president of the Forum for Ethnic Relations, Dusan Janjic.

Visiting the RTS, Janjic said that in order to open chapters in Brussels on 23 June, would be enough to "take off" the remaining four points of the 11, the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities, telecommunications, energy and Peace Park.

The leader and deputy of the Progressive Democratic Party in the Assembly of Kosovo, Nenad Rasic said that the absence of Serbian representatives from yesterday's session of the assembly happened due to the division on Djuric and Vulin's Serbs, and that it does not contribute to solving problems of the Serbs in Kosovo.

If the European Union does not change its position and become more proactive in the preparation of dialogue, Belgrade and Pristina could lose strength to go in the desired direction, said the analyst Dusan Janjic.

Speaking on TV B92, Janjic said that this is a critical year for Kosovo and interethnic relations in the territory.

"Tension is always raised before negotiations. The atmosphere in the whole of 2015 is bad, turmoil in Europe are large, social discontent prevails. Kosovo has all these problems, and a small population," said Janjic.
