Eggs thrown at PM Mustafa during a public event (Koha)

Kosovo Police has arrested two Vetevendosje activists for throwing eggs at Prime Minister Isa Mustafa during a visit to Podujevo. After the incident, Mustafa said: "I am not bothered by eggs; what is important is that things are going well". The Vetevendosje Movement issued a media statement confirming the arrest of its activists and said it would continue to prevent the normal functioning of the Kosovo government until it recalls agreements with Serbia.

Hashim Thaci’s calmness (Zeri)

Editor in chief of this daily, Arbana Xharra, considers that current calmness of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci is quite reasonable, “being that he has always had a plan B and that he calculates every single move in advance.” She considers that except for Vetevendosje, Thaci knows all the other opposition leaders very well because he has trapped them at least once.

Opposition: Over 100 thousand people signed petition against “Zajednica” (Gazeta Express)

Representatives of the Vetevendosje movement, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), held today a press conference at “Mother Teresa” square, where they informed that 101 thousand and 672 Kosovo people signed the petition against establishment of the Association of the Municipalities with Serb majority and demarcation of the border with Montenegro.

Vetevendosje: We did not attack the Prime Minister, but… (Indeksonline)

It appears that today’s planning to attack the escort of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, was not organized by the Vetevendosje movement. This is at least what its officials stated. “Vetevendosje spokesperson, Frasher Krasniqi, told Zeri that Vetevendosje movement did not undertake any action against Mustafa’s vehicle however he added that they support peaceful actions against the government.

Opposition parties want early elections (Gazeta Express/TV Dukagjini)

The Vetevendosje Movement, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) have reached a principle agreement on a joint election list and have agreed to block the institutional life until Kosovo goes to early parliamentary elections. Unnamed sources told TV Dukagjini that the opposition wants elections to be held in late October or early November. The same sources said that the agreement led to the AAK and NISMA joining the Vetevendosje action of throwing eggs at Prime Minister Mustafa at the Assembly today.

Selimi: Mustafa has two options (Klan Kosova)

Deputy from Vetevendosje movement, Rexhep Selimi, said for RTV Dukagjini, that Prime Minister Mustafa has only two options: resignation or withdrawal of the signature from the latest agreements reached in Brussels, including the one for the Association of the municipalities with Serb majority and demarcation of the border with Montenegro.

Selimi further added that it depends exclusively on the Prime Minister Mustafa if there are going to be protests or not.

Rexhep Selimi, Assembly deputy from Vetevendosje movement responded to the statement of the Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa, that the petition against the agreements reached in Brussels are being signed by those who are not well informed. “The Prime Minister should know that the citizens are very much aware of what they are signing. The Prime Minister is pretty much confusing and misbalanced in his public statements. The citizens are not uninformed, even though the Prime Minister would want very much to be the case.

 The three opposition leaders sign the petition (All media)

The three leaders of the united opposition in Kosovo, Visar Ymeri (Vetevendosje), Ramush Haradinaj (AAK) and Fatmir Limaj (NISMA), signed today the petition which requests rejection of the recent agreements reached in Brussels between Pristina and Belgrade and demarcation of the border with Montenegro. After signing the petition, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj said that the reached agreements do not harm Kosovo only politically, but on the judicial and economic aspects as well. NISMA leader, Fatmir Limaj, called on the supporters of his party and all the people of Kosovo to sign this petition.
