Jevtic: We do not give up on the return of Serbs to Kosovo (RTS)

A joint session of the Government and representatives of Serbs is being held today in Belgrade, where a comprehensive package of assistance and support to municipalities with a Serb majority in Kosovo will be approved, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS). President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will meet with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo in the Palace "Serbia".

In addition to the adoption of the investment plan, measures of incentives will be harmonized for those would invest in the territory of Kosovo.

In recent days, Radio Television of Serbia reports, the Municipality of Gracanica is in the spotlight because of the handover of a part of the territory to the municipality of Kosovo Polje and has returned a part of the social land to its possession. The latest case from this municipality is the petition of Albanian residents of the village of Ugljare, to join the municipality of Kosovo Polje.

Dacic: UNMIK remains in Kosovo in full scope and jurisdiction (RTS)

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said that UNMIK remains in Kosovo, that KFOR is the only armed force under the UNSC resolution and no other acts can be brought. He said and that Serbia will bring this attempt (to form the Kosovo army) to the Security Council session on 8th November.

Asked by the journalists whether he expects the Kosovo Army to be formed, Dacic said he hoped Pristina would be pressured to give up.

Albanians refuse to see St. Vitus as a holiday in Kosovo (RTS, Koha Ditore)

Albanian MPs, members of the relevant parliamentary committee that discussed the Kosovo Holidays Act, voted unanimously against the demands of the Serbian List to include the June 28th (Serbian Orthodox holiday Vidovdan (St. Vitus) in the act, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The RTS quotes Pristina daily Koha Ditore that the Serbian List requested to include the 28th June in the Law on holidays, but the first to oppose this request was MP Milaim Zeka, considering the request as an insult to the Albanians.

Serb families in the village Grace afraid of the Kosovo police (RTS)

RTS reports that a few days ago Kosovo Police searched the house of the Popovic family in Grace village. The police searched for weapons. According to RTS correspondant from Gracanica, weapons were not found but the owner of the house was arrested, and reportedly criminal charges were failed against him.

The police public report reads that a suspected Serb in Grace village was arrested and that an air rifle was seized and a rubber bat. Two criminal charges were filed against the arrested person, reports RTS.

Turkish president voices support for agreement on Kosovo (N1, RTS)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic that Ankara will support any agreement on Kosovo reached by Serbs and Albanians, the Serbian president’s cabinet said in Wednesday’s press release.

Speaking to Vucic by telephone, Erdogan said that Turkey will support any agreement reached by Belgrade and Pristina as part of their dialogue on Kosovo.

Dacic about the dilemma "EU or Kosovo'' (B92, RTS)

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and his Romanian counterpart Teodor Meleșcanu opened on Tuesday in Timisoara the conference "Security Challenges in the Balkans", Serbian media reported.

Dacic said in connection to the insistence to reach the solution within the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina but which would not affect others, that one forgets that solutions were made which destroyed the territorial integrity of Serbia.

European Parliament for any agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, in line with international law (RTS)

The foreign policy committee of the European Parliament tomorrow should adopt the text of the report on Serbia, which includes a compromise amendment on the possible correction of the borders between Serbia and Kosovo, reports Radio Television Serbia (RTS).

"Any agreement can only be accepted if it is mutually consistent and in line with the overall stability of the region and international law," the text of the agreed amendment states.

Dacic: In Kosovo only KFOR acceptable (RTS)

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in the morning RTS News that some expected that things in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina develop in the manner that Serbia recognize the unilateral act of Pristina and points that Serbia will not do it.

He repeats his expectations, and in this morning's RTS News, that by the end of the year some countries to withdraw recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.
