Mogherini on the developments in Kosovo, Hahn on the "attempt to unblock the dialogue" (B92, Beta)

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini says in Brussels that yesterday's events show that the status quo between Serbia and Kosovo is not sustainable, reports portal B92, quoting Beta news agency.

At a press conference on the occasion of the presenting the annual EU package on the progress of the countries of the Western Balkans, Mogherini said that she hoped the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would be soon restored and added that she was in constant contact with both sides.

KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Grasso says that yesterday's action of the Kosovo special police units was regular, and that in fact the biggest threat to peace are politicians and the media.

Asked about the situation in Kosovo this morning, Grasso says it is under control.

"Yesterday there was little tension, but luckily it was in isolated locations and it was completed during the day, so I have to say that it is peaceful," he said, during the inclusion in the morning program of Belgrade based TV Prva.

The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo submitted its report on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue under European Union auspices to parliament on Thursday.

The 80-page report covers the 2013-2019 period and will be debated at the parliament session on Kosovo on Monday, May 27. It was made available to all MPs and the public.
