EU on Rama's statement: Political interference in neighbouring countries is not of a help (RTS)

On the occasion of the "idea" of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on the "joint president of Albania and Kosovo", the European Union states that "the statements that can be interpreted as a political interference in neighbouring countries" are counterproductive both in building good neighbourly relations and progress on the path of EU integration of the country region, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The extraordinary session of the Kosovo Assembly scheduled for yesterday was postponed in order to ensure the presence of the majority of MPs required for the ratification of the agreement on the demarcation with Montenegro.

The postponement was requested by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.

War crimes charges dropped against slain Ivanovic (B92, RTS, Kallxo)

One month after the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, the Basic Court in Kosovska Mitrovica has formally ended the case where he stood accused of war crimes.

According to RTS - which cited the Pristina-based website Kallxo - the court decided to dismiss the indictment for war crimes against Ivanovic, a Serb politician from northern Kosovo.

Austrian vice-chancellor: Kosovo undoubtedly part of Serbia (B92, Beta, Tanjug, Politika, RTS)

Kosovo is without a doubt a part of Serbia, says Austrian Vice-Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache.

In an interview for Belgrade-based daily Politika ahead of his visit to Serbia, Strache said it would be desirable if northern Kosovo had the right to "self-determination or autonomy" - and that it would be wrong to pressure Belgrade to recognize Kosovo.

"I think that recognition of Kosovo a matter for Serbia alone. To pressure on the country because of that would be wrong," he said.

KFOR with Rakic, Hodzic: To strengthen cooperation in the investigation (RTS)

The Mayor of northern Mitrovica Goran Rakic met KFOR Commander Salvatore Cuoci with regard to the current security situation after the tragic murder of Oliver Ivanovic, reports RTS.

Rakic says that it is crucial to strengthen the cooperation of all the security structures involved in the investigation.

"Torched car belonged to deceased Serb from Austria" (B92, RTS, NMagazin, Blic)

Police Director Vladimir Rebic has confirmed that a torched car suspected of being used in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic belonged to a Serb from Austria.

Ivanovic was shot dead from a moving car on January 16, in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. According to reports, this car was later found torched near the scene.

Djuric: Stop terror against Serbian population (RTS, Tanjug)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, strongly condemned "shameful and cowardly attacks" on the property of the Serbs in Kosovo, and said that it was highly irresponsible that the international community did not take more active steps to stop the "terror against the Serbian population", reports RTS.
