The Progressive Democratic Party was formed in 2013 at the founding assembly in Gracanica after its leader, Nenad Rasic left the SLS due to difference of opinion. Since then, the party has participated in Kosovo parliamentary elections, as well as local elections, in 2014 and 2017.

President of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and member of the newly formed coalition, Rada Trajkovic, told Danas that the Serbian List has already begun campaigning against this newly formed coalition, but that it nonetheless expects solid results.
The Fatherland (Otazbina) People’s Movement of Kosovo Serbs says that it would boycott, as they say, “false elections” announced the beginning of 2020 and called the Kosovo Serbs and displaced persons not to turn out to vote.
The movement is a member of the Serbian opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS).

"My aim is to try to persuade Norway to withdraw the recognition of so-called Kosovo. I talked to many about that, and as a member of the Democracy party, I tried to enter the Parliament two years ago. Humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon, who has been sending aid to the Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija for years and was imposed a ban from entering Kosovo and Metohija on September 10, 2018, told this to Prva TV.
"I find it hard that I cannot visit Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija, I am not in a position to see my friends", he said.
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric said this morning in the RTS morning news that it was necessary for Pristina to abolish taxes in order for dialogue to resume and any kind of normalization of relations to start.
Djuric said that when it comes to the change of government in Pristina, Serbs have nothing to look forward to.
KiM Assembly Committee Chairman Milovan Drecun said there is new evidence against Ramus Haradinaj for crimes he has not been tried for, reports Serbian media, quoting daily Politika.
Drecun said this to Belgrade based daily Politika and added that Serbian authorities had found a way to speak with the Hague prosecutor, even though it was part of ''the unrecognized Kosovo judiciary''.
"We have put in place a mechanism to avoid any interpretation of recognizing self-proclaimed Kosovo through cooperation with the prosecution," Drecun said.
