Djuric: They think we're stupid, but we're not (B92, TV Prva)

Marko Djuric told Belgrade based TV Prva that he would like the US ambassador to Pristina "to give a lecture" to the Kosovo's leaders - but does not believe that this will happen.

Already on Monday, the provincial government in Pristina discussed the proposal of the Pristina-Tirana agreement on the gradual abolition of border control. "This speaks to the goals of Pristina," said the director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) reports, quoting Serbian state news agency Tanjug, that the European Union, as mediator in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, at this moment, has no answer to the question when the process of comprehensive normalization of relations could continue.

In addition to tariffs on goods from central Serbia, the big problem is the lack of a common position among all political actors in Pristina.

One of the former KLA commanders, Rustem Mustafa-Remi should be one of the first to be questioned before the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Deputy leader of the Serbian List Igor Simic told Radio Television of Serbia that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci’s statement that he was prepared to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on Serbian goods is a fabrication.

Beqaj: The idea of demarcation has diminished the value of the dialogue (Danas, RTK2)

"Who came up with this and what will we sign in Washington?" (B92, Tanjug, RTS)

Aleksandar Vucic says it's not clear to him how Hashim Thaci came up with stating that an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina would be signed in Washington.

Vucic told RTS late on Thursday that he "knows neither who came up with it, nor when Thaci was told this," and also wondered, "what are we supposed to sign."

As he pointed out, a Kosovo solution is not in sight, and added that he had "stressed this before."

Foreign Minister Dacic: Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina remains unchanged (RTS, Beta, N1)

There are no signs that the format of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina could change any time soon, said Serbia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic on Sunday, adding that Serbia is ready to continue the talks but only after Pristina abolishes its 100 per cent tariffs on Serbian products.

“There are no talks from new starting positions,” Dacic told RTS, the public broadcaster.

Trump to Vucic: We value your leadership, seize this moment (B92, Tanjug)

US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to Alexander Vucic, which Tanjug agency on Thursday said it had seen.

The letter, dated December 14, "stressed that the unique opportunity to reach a solution for Kosovo should be seized."

According to Tanjug, it reads as follows:

"Dear Mr. President,

Balkans face instability, minor conflicts, Daniel Serwer says (N1)

Peace in the Balkans is not in as much danger as it was in the 1990s but there are risks of instability, dissatisfaction and minor conflicts, Johns Hopkins University professor Daniel Serwer told regional broadcaster N1 on Tuesday.

He believes there is no direct threat to peace in the region, adding that Kosovo has had Security Forces for a while and that it will take 10 years to turn those forces into a military.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic repeated and to Belgrade based TV Prva that the result of the Monday’s UN Security Session was that the positions of all members of the Council to be heard.

That was the result of this session because, he points out in a statement to Prva TV, "Pristina hardly will withdraw its moves."
