The Serbian foreign minister and first deputy PM told RTS on Wednesday that yesterday's arrest of five Serbs in Kosovo was a hostile act that does not contribute creating a positive atmosphere for dialogue.

US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott told Radio Television Serbia (RTS) that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should enter a more intensive phase and expresses the hope that the compromise will be reached "perhaps even this year".

Scott told RTS that neither Belgrade nor Pristina will get everything they want, but that it is important that both sides come to a compromise.
