Serbian judges arrived at workplaces, the Albanian under escort (Kontakt plus radio, Kossev)

Serbian judges and administrative staff, as well as their Albanian colleagues, came to their workplaces at the Kosovo Basic Court in northern Mitrovica this morning at eight o'clock.

Sometime after eight o'clock and their Albanian colleagues arrived in a bus and under police escort, reports Kossev.

Whether this court today officially started to work, Kossev failed to obtain confirmation.

Two properties owned by Albanians attacked in the north (Koha/Klan Kosova)

A store owned by an Albanian resident of “Kodra e Minatoreve” neighbourhood in the northern part of Mitrovica was stoned last night as well as a house further down the street owned by Cerani family. Nysret Cerani, owner of the house, told KTV that at the time the house was stoned he also heard gunshots being fired and alleged that members of the Serb community are behind the attack.

Mitrovica: Fire caught three vehicles, no injures (KoSSev portal)

Two vehicles were burned down and one was damaged due to the fire that broke out early this morning in Mitrovica North, KoSSev portal reported. No one was injured, but material damages are reported.

Although police preliminary considered the fire broke out due to electrical installation, Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Police Region North, Besim Hoti, confirmed to KoSSev portal that the police doubts it is an arson case.

KoSSev unofficially learnt the two vehicles are the property of the Kosovo Albanian baker, and in his yard the vehicles were burned down.

Doctor Dragiša Milović says for Vesti portal that he is trying to reduce tension because it is about local elections. He says that he will not deal with the status, or the army of Kosovo, so that someone can accuse them of betraying national interests.

Ivanović and Milović: Complaints filed against unknown perpetrators for the pressures on candidates (Kontakt plus radio)

Representatives of the CI SDP and “Together for Zvečan” and candidates for mayors and North Mitrovica and Zvečan, Oliver Ivanović and Dragiša Milović announced that they filed complaints against unknown perpetrators for the pressures on candidates for councillors who withdrew their candidacies from these two lists, reports Kontakt plus radio.

The complaints have been filed with the Serbian prosecutor, the radio reports.

Government officials react after being stopped at Jarinje (B92, Tanjug)

Kosovo police have prevented Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic and Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric from entering Kosovo.

They were stopped on Monday at Jarinje - an administrative crossing between Kosovo and central Serbia.

Tanjug is reporting that Sarcevic and Djuric were on their way to Kosovska Mitorivca, where they were to open a student health-care institution at the Student Center.

Oliver Ivanovic's car set on fire (KoSSev portal, B92)

A car owned by Oliver Ivanovic was set on fire in the northern Mitrovica at 04:00 hours CET on Friday morning, Serbian media are reporting.

Kossev portal received confirmation of the incident from both Ivanovic and from the deputy regional chief of Kosovo Police, Besim Hoti.

It is reported that the car, a VW Passat, was parked in front of the pharmacy in Lole Ribara Street when it was torched.

The case is considered an arson attack that caused general danger.
