Haradinaj changes his answer on numbers (Kallxo.com)

The PAN candidate for the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, talked shortly to the journalists after his registration procedure at the Assembly of Kosovo. This time he avoided a direct answer to the question on whether he has the sufficient number of votes to create the government. “I do not understand what numbers you are talking about. The Assembly has 120 MPs and each of them has the right to vote,” Haradinaj said. “It has been a long road for the elected ones up to this day. But I congratulate those elected for the first time. We will continue to work.

Lower sentences for Badovci case (Kallxo.com)

Exactly one year and a day after they were sentenced for the first time by the Basic Court in Pristina, the trial panel comprised by judges Valbona Selimaj, Valon Kurtaj and Vesel Ismajli sentenced once again the accused for Badovci case. Besnik Latifi was sentenced to prison with four years and six months, Gazmend Haliti, Milazim Haxhiaj and Enis Latifi with three years and six months, while Fehmi Musa was sentenced with three years of prison. Beqiri: Mustafa’s government, the most successful (Kallxo.com)

Ismet Beqiri, head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), assessed Isa Mustafa’s government as the most successful one after the war. Beqiri said that opposition has a parliamentary power of 30 votes, and stated that LDK would vote against the motion. “Motion with unsustainable data and untruth attributed to this government and Assembly,” Beqiri said. He also spoke about partnership with the United States of America.

Vetevendosje: The government is down (Kallxo.com)

During the Assembly debate on the no-confidence motion for the government, head of the Vetevendosje movement parliamentary group, Glauk Konjufca, counted some of what he called failures of the government of Kosovo, with Isa Mustafa as Prime Minister.

According to Konjufca,  Mustafa became Prime Minister with the agreement which made Hashim Thaci President, a few months after Mustafa held campaign against him.

Kosovo requests from FYROM paperwork to investigate Kumanovo case (Kallxo.com)

The Special Prosecution of Kosovo is investigating “Kumanovo” case, however it is waiting for the paperwork of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) authorities in order to proceed with further investigation.

The case has been under investigation by the prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Ali Rexha, for two years now. “I am waiting for the paperwork which concerns the investigation that I have requested from FYROM,” Rexha said.

Blakaj: Lists of missing persons exist (Kallxo)

Organisations that monitor war crimes cases and the families of missing persons in Kosovo said they were surprised by a recent statement by Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri. The latter told members of a parliamentary committee on Monday that the issue of missing persons is not being discussed in Brussels because the European Union has asked for the lists of missing persons and that neither Pristina nor Belgrade provided such lists.

OSCE and Orthodox Church condemn attack on mosque in Gjilan (Kallxo.com)

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo through a press statement condemned the attempt by a Kosovo Serb to demolish the minaret of a mosque in the village of Velekincë, in Gjilan municipality a few days ago. "Ambassador Schlumberger condemns attack on Velekinca Mosque and commends police and local leadership for response that keeps this incident isolated,” reads the statement. Also the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo condemned the incident.
